Would you like to audit your website to understand how it can be better indexed on Google? Here are 10 free SEO tools you can use to perform a quick SEO audit and take concrete action.
Your website’s SEO depends on 3 factors: technique, content and authority.
To enable you to audit these 3 factors quickly and at no cost, today I’m offering you 10 free SEO tools divided as follows:
Free SEO tools to analyze loading speed
As you know, loading speed has a direct impact on your website’s SEO.
It is often said that a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load from a mobile device will be penalized in its SEO. It’s often said that a website that takes more than 3 seconds to load from a mobile device will be penalized in its SEO. To audit your website’s SEO, it’s therefore important to start by analyzing loading speed.
This is what I propose with the following 3 free SEO tools:
1. GTMetrix

Once the audit has been carried out, you’ll receive a list of improvements to be made to optimize your site’s loading speed, and therefore its SEO.
2. Pingdom Tools

Pingdom Tools is an alternative to GTMetrix. The advantage of this SEO tool is that it lets you configure the geographical zone of your analysis without creating an account.
3. Pagespeed Insight de Google
This free SEO tool is offered by Google, which is a guarantee of quality! I systematically use it as a complement to my GTMetrix analysis, not only to validate the data I’ve been able to obtain, but also to go into a little more detail from a mobile optimization point of view.

Pagespeed Insight presents all the improvements you need to make to optimize loading speed from a mobile device and therefore optimize your website’s SEO. Google is very tough in its recommendations, but I really suggest you take them seriously, as the search engine dictates the rules of the game.
By using these 3 free SEO tools, you’ll already have a list of improvements to make that will have a direct impact on your website’s SEO. From there, your website will be technically OK to move on to the next stage. You now need to analyze the quality of your website’s content.
Free SEO tools to analyze your content
1. Thruuu
This tool developed by my friend Samuel Schmitt is just amazing! And it’s totally free, too…
With Thruuu, you can analyze Google search results based on a keyword to identify the results that are well referenced and obtain the characteristics of these pages :

So here, for the keyword “Lead generation guide”, I can see that I’m 1st on Google and get all the characteristics of my page. This obviously applies to all results!
The icing on the cake: Thruuu lets you download data in Excel format without even having to create an account.
2. Outiref
Outiref is a free SEO tool that allows you to validate the correct use of your keywords on a page.

You can check that your key tags are correctly filled in. If not, you’ll get optimization recommendations.
3. Ubersuggest
Ubersuggest is the SEO tool proposed by Neil Patel, an international digital marketing expert.
His SEO audit tool is also top-notch and I use it very regularly:

With Ubersuggest, you can audit a domain name or a keyword. It’s a comprehensive free SEO tool.
4. Google search console
I’m not going to go into the details of this free SEO tool, as I could do an entire article on it.
Google Search Console actually gives you all the information you need to fully understand your website’s SEO.
It’s also in Search Console that Google informs you of any errors, warnings and penalties your website may receive.
Are you ready to take your website’s SEO to the next level? With these 5 free SEO tools, you’ll have a comprehensive list of improvements to optimize your website content. But don’t stop there – the third pillar of SEO is your website’s authority. By auditing your website’s authority, you’ll ensure that your site is being recognized as a trusted source by search engines. Take the next step in enhancing your website’s SEO by analyzing its authority today.
Here are 2 free SEO tools
Free SEO tools to audit your website authority
To audit your website’s authority, I recommend analyzing 2 things: the number of external links you have (Backlinks) and your Domain Authority Score. To do this, here are the 2 free SEO tools I use:
1. Ahref

Ahref is simple and effective: just enter your domain name and launch the audit. In just a few thousandths of a second, you get your score.
If your score is below 20, your website is not appreciated by search engines. Between 20 and 40, it needs to be improved. Above 40, your website enjoys a high ranking with the search engines.
Top for your SEO!
2. Backlinks

Backlinks is a free SEO tool – perhaps even an Ubersuggest feature – offered by Neil Patel.
Very simple to use, all you have to do is enter your domain name to check how many backlinks you have and what they are.
Conclusion
In conclusion, if you’re eager to enhance your website’s visibility on Google and boost its performance in search rankings, conducting a comprehensive SEO audit is a crucial first step. Fortunately, there are numerous free SEO tools at your disposal, each designed to address specific aspects of your website’s technical, content, and authority-related issues.
